The Role

Reporting to the Executive Director Corporate Services, the role is responsible for developing and coordinating the implementation of risk management strategies and quality assurance/continuous improvement activities to identify and minimise all form of risk. This will include building awareness and educating stakeholders in the effective deployment of these strategies and processes. The role also oversees an auditing function to ensure compliance to corporate governance is maintained across all business areas.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this role, you will have significant risk and compliance experience, with proven abilities and knowledge in:

  • Knowledge and understanding of legislation pertaining to corporate governance.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management best practice.
  • Demonstrated experience in internal auditing practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in management systems and the development of corporate policies and procedures.
  • Reviewing and monitoring risk management systems
  • Undertaking internal process/systems reviews

The successful person will have achieved a tertiary qualification in business, accounting, commerce or related discipline.
